HB 124 Testimony

House Bill 124 of the 135th Ohio General Assembly was a bill that would have removed the statute of limitations for victims of child sexual abuse in Ohio and extended the the SOL’s for victims of adult sexual abuse in Ohio until age 55, giving many survivors a chance to finally get the justice they deserve. Bayly Taylor submitted written testimony in support of HB 124 based on her own personal experience and planned on giving oral testimony at the Statehouse but, unfortunately, the bill stalled.

Bayly’s story needs to be heard, and it is our hope that it sparks action affecting real change in our community.
